JON Byrne plays his first Barrow date of 2010 at the Nines on Dalkeith Street on Thursday January 28.

Jon is now joined by ex-Gear musicians Pete Mills (bass) and Dom Goodings (drums).

Together, they go under the name Jon Byrne & The Victims.

The supporting bill features The Savage Nomads, a young band from South London, who made their debut Barrow appearance late last year supporting Jon.

Opening proceedings will be the Devotion, with acoustic tales of love and loss.

Doors open at 8pm, and this will be a pay-on-the-door event.

On a different note, Jon would like to extend his sincere apologies to any fans who turned out to see him play at the Canteen’s Boxing Night Bash with 808 State and Aim.

Jon was never actually scheduled to appear on the bill, and regrets any disappointment caused.
