Time travelling village

THIS set of before and after pictures show the Waberthwaite village school and its traditional post office with a 100 year gap.

The original Waberthwaite and Corney School is now a house but the modern school is less than 100 yards away.

The post office still serves its original function and is also the base for the famed Woodall’s of Waberthwaite meat products.

It still has a red posting box outside the shop door.
